His Life Story
Hubert K. Rampersad, B.S., M.Sc., Ph.D. is an internationally respected and recognized consultant, trainer, and coach in the field of sustainable Personal and Organizational Change. He received his formal education in the Netherlands earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Enschede Polytechnic Institute, an M.Sc. in Robitics from Delft University of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Management from Eindhoven University of Technology. He is president of TPS International LLC and prominent author of the bestselling books “Total Performance Scorecard: Redefining Management to Achieve Performance with Integrity” (Butterworth-Heinemann Business Books, 2003) and “Personal Balanced Scorecard; The Way to Individual Happiness, Personal Integrity and Organizational Effectiveness” (Information Age Publishing Inc., 2006) which both has been translated in 20 languages. His related article was awarded in the UK with “The most outstanding paper”. The title of his 2007-book is TPS-Lean Six Sigma; Linking Human Capital to Lean Six Sigma - A New Blueprint for Creating High Performance Companies (Information Age Publishing, 2007), translated in 12 languages. The title of his latest book is “EFFECTIVE PERSONAL and COMPANY BRAND MANAGEMENT; A New Blueprint for Powerful and Authentic Personal and Company Branding”. Dr. Rampersad is author of 12 other books and of more than 100 articles in leading journals. He is member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the journal Training and Management Development Methods (United Kingdom), member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the journal Measuring Business Excellence (United Kingdom), member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the TQM Magazine (United Kingdom), member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Knowledge Management Practice in Canada, and editorial advisor to Singapore Management Review. He is also a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s prestigious Thought Leader Advisory Board (www.MarshallGoldsmithLibrary.com) and selected by The Marshall Goldsmith School of Management as one of the 35 distinguished thought leaders in the US in the field of leadership development. His views on happiness in life and work were published in BusinessWeek in June 2007. Dr. Rampersad has conducted workshops and seminars for leading companies such as: Nokia, Philips Electronics, Lucent Technologies, and Shell Oil Company. He is hon. professor at Ural State University in Russia. From 1987 on he has been successful as an international management consultant guiding, coaching, and training leading organizations in the areas of his professional interest: personal & company branding, personal management, organizational behavior, strategic management, total quality management, organizational learning, performance management, and leadership.
